 Exploring Tuscany is a constant delight. In the perfectly preserved towns and villages, you find people living much as their ancestors once did complete with annual festivals and colourful pageants. Yours adventure begins in Certaldo - an unspoiled medieval hill town with massive 12th century brick ramparts. You ride up the Elsa Valley to San Gimignano and spend 2 nights.
Through the countryside you ride to Val d'Elsa and then on to Monteriggioni. The last leg of the journey takes your tour into Siena, considered to be one of Europe's best preserved cities - a true treasure of Tuscany.
Your tour is considered moderate, and there are some hills in the Tuscan region to challenge you. Travellers should be able to ride 4 to 5 hours in the hot sun. Your tour includes accommodation in 2 to 4-star hotels with en suite facilities. 4 breakfasts are included. No lunches or dinners are offered. Luggage transfers and route notes are included.
